I joined Diabetes UK as the Senior Designer as a brand refresh was on the brink of rollout at the start of 2020. Despite the challenges of lockdown, I directed an in-house team of designers as we finalised the new brand guidelines, especially adding detail and direction to areas that had been overlooked in the brand development, such as clearer typography and illustration assets.
I worked on creative briefs across all areas of the organisation. Building on my experience with gaming products at Scope, I developed a new bolder direction for the lottery and seasonal raffle draws.
Although it was delayed by the pandemic, I was also involved collaboratively in the development of a subsequent brand awareness national campaign which was developed with an agency alongside the in-house team.
